Zoo-ming in

The top three "modern art" images here were captured by cropping, in sequence, the bottom three photos. You might want to try this with your own pictures when you're feeling creative; it was fun to see things in a different way.

That being said, I find the bottom ones way more beautiful.

  1. Very interesting photography, will have to try that, but the last are my favourites, especially the elephant. Fascinating creatures aren't they? Thank you for sharing.

  2. You're right, the bottom ones are more beautiful! I'd never have guessed they were parts of a bigger picture. I'll try that with some of my photos.

  5. Sandy and Janet: Glad you liked the pictures.

Patsy: I remember that story, too.

Noel: Cropping is one of the few things I know how to do.

  6. Really, really lovely. You have such a good eye for design I imagine you unconsciously helped your artist daughter to look at things differently as she grew up. Thanks for sharing the experiment!

  7. Thanks, Carmon. You wouldn't think so if you'd seen some of my earlier decorating choices.
