I love seeing that! I wonder if they pooped on anything below the tree. I like seeing a lot of birds on a telephone wire, too.
I've been watching a couple of Mourning Doves lately. The pair have made somewhere around my house their home, I suppose. I love waking up to the cooing, and when rinse my coffee cup in the kitchen sink, they're right there, just out my window on the fence. They make me feel happiness. So did your photos. :-)
Janet, surely they wouldn't have! They probably only stopped to buy cold drinks, snacks, and souvenirs. :)Duly Inspired, the sound of doves cooing takes me back to the early summer mornings of my childhood, when I'd wake up and lie in bed for a while, listening to their calls through the open window. I can see why watching them makes you happy.
What a gorgeous series!
Thanks, Holly. I was so happy those birds flew in while I was sitting nearby with my camera in my hands.
