Green Peace

The last few entries I've written have been exceptionally long, so I thought I'd give us all a rest tonight--and brighten up my blog at the same time. Here are a few peaceful images I snapped earlier this year. (Warning to fellow allergy sufferers: Beware of hidden pollen in these photos.)

  2. Patsy, these are more zoo photos. I imagine the wire was to keep the kiddies from straying off the walkway and into the wilderness.

  4. Aaaaarggghhhh! If I never see beautiful, green, idyllic woods again - it'll be too soon!

My son is working on his Boy Scout Eagle project, which has involved lots of traipsing through lovely woods and digging 4' holes to install bat houses on 12' posts - in 95+ degree heat. All of which needs to be done, along with writing a report, getting required signatures and submitting before he turns 18 next week.

Peaceful greenery is just giving me the twitchies, right now. Hope to "recover" in several weeks, I usually love the great outdoors.

The photos are lovely, Velvet, but they just want to make me run and hide right now!

  5. Sunflower, it'll get better soon. Maybe some of those bats just moved into your belfry temporarily, until they can get in their new bat houses.;-)

  6. LOL, thanks Velvet, you're absolutely right, that's got to be it, I AM going batty!

Hopefully my "involvement" will end today - but as you well know, for a mom it never really ends.
