The sun showed up this morning,
the clouds came after noon,
the rain is pouring as I write,
I'll post the next change soon.
Update 9/18/06, 5:30 p.m.
The rain stuck around for more than 24 hours, except for brief respites every now and then. It was raining when I went to work this morning and still raining when I left the office at 5:00 p.m. today. Twenty minutes later, though, I arrived home to this:
These vivid shades of blue were worth the wait.
What gorgeous photos Velvet, love the sun ray one. More of the same please :)

i think it is fall here.
ReplyDeleteI wanted rain so Sunday afternoon I talked Astrid and Ingrid into going out in the front yard and doing a "rain dance". Each made up words to a song and ran around the yard hollering them. It started to rain...and i know they think they caused it. We believe more strongly when young. Old age bring our doubts to surface. Rain is gone here, but my world seems cleaner.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sandy. I find sun rays so much more interesting than just plain sunshine.
ReplyDeletePatsy, I WISH it were fall here.
Janet, thanks. I'll post an update just for you.
TC, weather, weather everywhere -- we can't get away from it.
Sweet Sister, that's cute. Tell those girls not to dance quite so hard next time; they get us wet clear down in Louisiana.
What a treat, Velvet, your poetry and photography. I love that spectacular blue sky!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sunflower. That blue sky looked even more beautiful in person, especially after so much rain.
