I've been waiting on pins and needles tonight for a call from my sister, and the call just came. Today she welcomed into the world her fourth grandchild, a beautiful baby girl. Mother and child--and the rest of the family--are doing well.
Just wanted to take a moment to welcome you into the family, little one. You'll find that we're far from perfect, but you'll have a good time and you'll be well loved.
O that is lovely, congratulations
ReplyDelete~ great aunt? Your family is certainly growing and what a precious time it is. Hope you keep us all up to date. :)
I wish her a healthy and happy life.
Sandy
Thanks for the good wishes, Sandy.
ReplyDeleteShe for certain has a wonderful family. Welcome to the world little one...oooh the jealousy I feel right now. Why couldn't I be a velvet sack? soooo not fair. I dont want to be a sack but I think you know what I mean...your fam seems wonderful. No family is perfect but yours seems wonderful. You are a lucky woman. I hope you know that. You have something a lot of people would love to have. I hope you always cherish it.
ReplyDeleteI read the 5 sisters or 4 sisters journals because it seems they have a nice family too. It's good to hear the stories. (you know. sassy sisters and all them, that's who I mean.)
Congrats on the newest edition. Please continue to pass down kindness from generation to generation. The efforts of your family to love one another and learn from mistakes spills over to complete strangers and gives us hope that the world isn't totally lost. Kinda wierd huh?...that what you do with your family impacts complete strangers either positively or negatively..it does though and in your case its positive.
smiles to you and yours,
Austin
Austin, you say the nicest things! We do learn from our mistakes in my family--and then we go on to make a whole set of new ones. The thing that always helps us get through it is a shared sense of humor, and I know from reading your journal that you have a terrific one of those.
