My favorite new TV series of the past season is
Nashville. It's an intriguing, behind-the-scenes look at politics and the music industry in Tennessee's second-largest city. The story is interesting, the characters are well drawn, and the music has been consistently good since the beginning. This week's episode featured a number by
Lennon and Maisy Stella, 13- and 9-year-old girls who are sisters in real life and also on the show, playing daughters of the show's main character. What a treat!
With that brief introduction, I'll make their performance this week's Saturday Song Selection. You go, girls!

The song is "Ho Hey" (by the Lumineers), performed here by Lennon and Maisy Stella.

I tired to get into Nashville and just couldn't, even though I love both the female leads. I deleted all the episodes when I knew I would be in Baton Rouge for a while.
ReplyDeleteBut I do love the Stella girls... they are awesome!
I saw this episode and thought the girls were fantastic, but didn't know they were sisters! That is so neat. I've also been enjoying the series, especially the music.
ReplyDeleteHolly, some shows are like that for me, too.
ReplyDeleteAnnette (WMN), so let me ask you: do you have a tiny little crush on Deacon, too?
