the wind in your hair on a Sunday afternoon!"

Owen's mama is doing a great job of providing the family with current photos. Her digital camera and her photographic skills have moved way up near the top of my gratitude list. (I cheerfully snagged the photos above from Facebook.)
This past Sunday Kim and I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with Owen while his Nana, my daughter Kelli, babysat. His mama sent his Jeep with him on this visit, and I remembered to take my camera, so I got the chance to take some pictures of my own:
How we hope he'll be in 16 years:
driving safely, hands on the wheel,
big baby-blues on the road ahead.
driving safely, hands on the wheel,
big baby-blues on the road ahead.
How he'll possibly be in 16 years,
given the genes he's inherited:
Rowdy hollering, hearty laughter,
"Look, Ma, no hands!"
Nah... by then, he will snag Aunt Kim's Harley!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!
Oh no! NO Harley!!! hahaha or at least dont tell me about it!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures Grammy thanks for loving me and my baby boy so much!
Absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteHolly, I suspect even Aunt Kim would find this idea unsettling. ;-)
ReplyDeleteKalyn, I'm totally with you on the Harley issue. And thank you for being you and for giving birth to this beautiful boy. MMMMMMmmmwahhhh!
Lucylocket, thank you!
aw, such a cute baby, and he looks like a good-natured one, too!
ReplyDeleteOh MY GOSH, I can't stand the cuteness. I'm pretty sure that you just broke the internet by posting that photo of adorable-ness! You are blessed! And THAT makes me so happy.
ReplyDeleteAdam wanted to know why there was no mention of ( his words) "Owens wonderful father" hahaha
ReplyDeleteJanet, thanks. He's very good-natured, mostly, but he can turn it on and off at will and without warning.
ReplyDeleteDuly Inspired, thanks, I do feel blessed.
Kalyn, omigod! I wrote two whole paragraphs about how wonderful Owen's father is. What happened to them? I must have accidentally deleted the HTML code when I moved one of the photos. Okay, maybe that's not true, but it IS true that Adam is a wonderful dad. Sorry I neglected to mention him and happy that he called the error to your attention. ;-)
the blog you ask me about. I don't think this is as should be and tried to talk her out of it but no go. remember loretta lynn song d-i-v-o-r-c- e well some think some one might use this in court. I don't, she does. I'll tell her you ask.
ReplyDeletei sent you an email if it goes thro' you will know what is going on.
