The world would be a better place.

Ex-Shammickite, you made me remember one time when my daughters were teenagers. We were going to a barbecue and were supposed to bring corn on the cob, and the girls were embarrassed that someone would see our cart full of nothing but corn and think we were weird. Then a man got in line behind us whose cart was filled with nothing but cheese. i could have kissed him.

Val, tiny moments like that certainly lift my spirits.

Duly Inspired, I'm a people watcher from way back. It's talking to 'em that makes me uncomfortable sometimes.

Janet, the MJ aroma seemed to be drifting over from the three guys at the next check-out stand.Linda@VShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04499621332375290781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21612081.post-52059711696470267222008-07-13T08:31:00.000-05:002008-07-13T08:31:00.000-05:00where was the marijuana coming from?? Any chance you'll be coming home again this year?

Robbin, I've always thought "As the World Turns" was such a good title for a show about people's lives. Your comment made me think about all the "soap operas" we never know about that are played out each day in private, in the homes of people we'll never meet. I think one of the reasons I enjoy blogging so much is that reading about the daily lives and experiences of real people helps put so many things in perspective. As you wrote, "we are really in the same boat."

Carmon, you are *always* welcome.Linda@VShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04499621332375290781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21612081.post-49491123529682557852008-07-05T13:48:00.000-05:002008-07-05T13:48:00.000-05:00Thank you...CarmonThank you...CarmonLife at Star's Resthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11068869890677539768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21612081.post-24137696794812684142008-07-05T10:22:00.000-05:002008-07-05T10:22:00.000-05:00I too have these "revelations" about human beings ...I too have these "revelations" about human beings especially with my line of work. Observing each one and knowing we all have stuggles and strife, joys and pleasures, and I am content on these days to know we are really in the same boat and I feel a connection with all. And then there are those days when I feel like everybody in the world must be nuts! Including myself. Life is funny like that.Robbinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04663210786298674312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21612081.post-22238119366838184672008-07-04T18:13:00.000-05:002008-07-04T18:13:00.000-05:00Velvet, there you go making me homesick again!
